Vision and Hearing Checkups – Thursday, October 10th

Vision and Hearing Checkups are next week - Thursday, October 10. Midland’s Health Tech and the District nurses need help guiding students to wait in lines. Please sign up for a shift (or two)! You must be cleared to volunteer by the school. Sign up to help here:

Spirit Day - Sports/Hobby Day, Friday, October 11th

Don't forget to show your spirit and wear your favorite sport or hobby!  

 

Restaurant Night

It was so much fun to see all of the families who came to Hop Stop to support Midland!! Next week, we have another opportunity to support a local business while giving back to the school! Come on out to Bongiorno’s on Wednesday, Oct. 9, from 4-8pm, mention the fundraiser (or add it in the comments of your online order) and 20% of the night’s proceeds will be donated to the Midland Educational Foundation. Water Bottles

Midland believes that proper hydration is important to our rattlers.  Please make sure that if you are sending your child with a refillable water bottle, it can only contain water and must be a non-glass container.  For safety reasons, students will not be able to use cups with straws (stanley cup style).  Your help with this is greatly appreciated!

 

Trunk or Treat

Trunk or Treat is on Friday, October 25. The PTA is looking for volunteers to help before, during, and after the event, as well as to host a trunk (candy will be provided). Check out the various volunteer spots that are available:

Character Parade Guidelines – October 31st

Midland always a fun time at our character parade!  Students are encouraged to dress like a story book character.  Please note the guidelines attached to this message to ensure everyone has a fun and safe time at the parade. Our event will be held in our Midland Quad from 8:00-8:45a.m.
